Hello! Could you tell me how you use Oregon Grape leaves? I noted your reply on a monograph about Oregon Grape in my research for preparing the leaves. You mentioned that you used them in a salve. I have a persistent, allergic-type rash that I am hoping to use the salve to treat as well as my daughters eczema. Thank you!
I recommend using the fresh flowering plant tops. It is easiest to harvest your own during the growing season – usually around mid-to-late June in most places. However, I do know that Pacific Botanicals offers fresh St John’s Wort – http://www.pacificbotanicals.com/store/St.-Johns-Wort.html

I infuse the chopped leaves in organic olive oil and then after straining, melt together with wax to make a salve. Thanks for the question Lisa!
I want to make a tincture of St. Johns Wort but where would you recommend I get the herb?
And Nice pic of you !!!
