Mineral Makeup Application Tip:
Using Natural Look Mineral Makeup™ Colors.
When it comes to color, you are the best judge. You can choose any shade from the Natural Look Mineral Makeup™ color palette for use as eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush, lipstick, lip liner, brow liner, bronzer, body shimmer or even nail polish! Remember, it is best to apply the colors in sheer layers to create the look you want, from a soft healthy glow, to a more opaque evening look.
This month we’ll discuss using mineral color as eyeshadow, blush, bronzer and nail polish.
| EYESHADOW
After you have chosen your desired Natural Look Mineral Makeup™ color, tap a small amount of powder into the container lid and use the fluff side of the Duo Angle/Fluff Brush to apply in light stokes on your eyelid. Use lighter shades for highlighting under your brow and medium shades for the lower part of your lid. Darker shades are perfect for the crease of your lid. If you have never used a Crease Brush, you will be amazed at the ease with which it allows you to apply perfect color to the crease area of the eyelid. It is definitely a great addition to your makeup brush collection. |
| BLUSH
Again, tap a small amount of the chosen shade of color into the lid and using the Blush Brush, apply in light strokes form the apple of the cheek outward along the cheekbone. |
| BRONZER OR BODY SHIMMER
Using the Kabuki or Blush Brush, apply your chosen shade on any area of the body you want to look bronzed or shimmery. Remember don’t try to get the tone you want by using a heavy layer. Use multiple sheer layers. |
| NAIL POLISH
Use clear nail polish and simply dip the nail polish brush into the desired Natural Look Mineral Makeup™ colors and apply to nails. Natural Look Mineral Makeup™ colors can also be mixed into clear or colored nail polish to create different shades. |

Isabel, 6; who had either failed in her attempt at to finish her umpteenth cookie, or she was in a raging, delirious, feverish state, or was trying to curry favors from Vanessa. Whatever the reason, Vanessa and I were clearing our ears and taking double looks to see if we were really hearing correctly.
Vanessa, thanks for finding our ski passes! Also, a friend of ours has come up with some darn nifty tote bags made from repurposed racing sails. We LOVE the three R’s: reduce, reuse, recycle!
